Who? Dreamcad was founded by Eugene Marchetto, a software developer and consultant with a focus on CAD/BIM environments. Streamlining design workflows that increase profitability and business growth for my clients and employers.
How? By learning about your company, industry, and business goals, I then architect a solution and develop custom plugins for AutoCAD, Revit, and other systems. Whether a full blown automated system that links engineering sales and manufacturing, or a simple tool to automate one particular design task, the solution is molded around you. This is in sharp contrast to off-the-shelf products that dictate how you work while offering both limited and extraneous functionality. Combining engineering experience, programming, and creativity, my systems have had a great impact on the workflow and success of numerous design groups.
Process? By working very close with the client in short update cycles, this allows us together to understand where we are and have the ability to change direction as needed and thus provide top valued solutions.
What can be automated? By programming company standards and logic rules, I am able to transform project data that drives CAD layouts and fabrication drawings, BIM models, specifications, CNC processes, ERP population, and more…
Wow! What happens when the method of drawing line by line is replaced by a custom configurator? By changing the design process, I have converted three day tasks to two hours, four hour tasks to 15 minutes, and 20 minute tasks to a few seconds. Wow!

What CAD/BIM software do you automate? Most of my work involves AutoCAD and Revit. But any design software that has an API we can work with and automate.
Do you program only CAD/BIM systems? No. On request from clients, I also work in non design engineering work.
What industries do you work with? All industries. My first skill is the ability to learn and understand new areas. But some examples of fields I have automated include vertical transportation, retail store planning, shower glass doors, submarine fiber optic telecommunications, infrared industrial ovens, garment conveyors, industrial printing, more…
Can you be involved as just a consultant? Yes. If you have a programming team but need expert concepts, ideas, and guidance, then I also take on that role.
Is all your work enterprise-wide systems? No, I also work on small standalone commands that become quite useful and valued.
